Our team of volunteers returned to the Children’s Hospital No 3 on Vasilievsky Island St Petersburg in May 2007. We were once again welcomed whole heartedly by the Head Doctor Galina and the staff and children at the hospital. As can often happen the project we planned had to be changed at the last minute due to regulations imposed on the hospital. Our volunteers however rose to the challenge splendidly and worked very hard often late into the night to ensure the project was finished on time. This time we were delighted to have the help of a number of Russian workers.

As were our team of ‘old hands’!
We were also able to remove a glass partition wall in the corridor of the ward thus opening up the corridor and making it a much lighter and brighter for both staff and children.
Fundraising As always fund raising is vital for our charity, if everyone who read this newsletter were to respond with a donation we would be well on our way to funding our next project. Please consider making a donation, no matter how small or indeed large. Our thanks go to all those who have raised funds for us in the past and to the many supporters who have donated funds. Without your help we would not be able to help the children in the way that we do.
